Background to transparency

May I request you to make tuts on how to make different types of brochures?
Some interesting points are- 1. how to create the various panels. 2. How to set the exact widths of panels to suit the different folding styles. 3. How to set margins of individual panels to suit the different folding styles. 4. How the different fold types affect the reading sequence of panels. 5. What to do when a vertical fold results in upside-down text. 6. How to create angular folds (neither horizontal nor vertical), and how to place the text on such panels.
I have written multiple help manuals for open source and freeware software, using OpenOffice/LibreOffice Writer.
The manuals are large (180-380 pages) with complex structure (large number of internal links from one part of the manual to another, nested tables that span over multiple pages, tables with merged cells and images anchored to table cells).
To avoid a crash, I have to use subdocuments in Writer.
Now I want to compose them in Scribus. But again I may have to opt for subdocument approach to avoid system overloading/crashes.
But how well does Scribus support subdocuments? (e.g. can I create links from one subdocument to another? Does Scribus have a master document concept, as in Writer?)
Could you tell how insert large text into scribus? How generate many text frames (linked) to fit all inserted text? Generally how work with large texts in scribus?

So Dai what about this large text that i asked yesterday? Will you do some tutorial on this topic in close future? For me and many others it would be great help because working with large text is very importand in DTP. There is no way to manually link text frames in large books. It must be automatic, with automatic page style defined for all or several (selected) pages.

I have another 2 question" 1 Could you make some tutorial about pre-press with Scribus? As you know publication must achieve specific conditions before printing. I thinking about color management, blinds and many others. That is irrelevant in digital publishing but must be done before printing. How do it with Scribus? 2 Is it possible to add pictures automatically for many frames/pages? For example how to make album with hundreds of illustrations?
BTW Your videos about Scribus is one of the bust videos about design programs ever!

To be honest with you I don't know. I don't use these methods my self so have no experience of it.
