Hi - could you make this available in an open format like Ogg Theora ? I can help if needed.

I could if there were a call for an ogg format. All Linux users need do is use SM Player to view these movies.
The main reason for using wmv is that they can be viewed full screen in good clarity. besides infrarecorder is a windows software program. I can send you the files if you want to conveert them your self let me know.

I would really prefer to just read the steps in simple enumerated list. I think the video is also useful for those who prefer to see the steps performed. I convert the video tutorial to text for you, but it crashes my Firefox browser when I try to play it.

would you please create a tutorial explaining how to burn a bootable image to CD? I tried and tried, but it does not work for me. Well, I should say that I cannot get my pc to boot from the CD. I believe that I am not creating the CD correctly.

have you tried using the cd after you changed the bios to boot off the cd

I tried to burn a bootable ISO image to a CD-R like the person above and it did not boot either. In fact, when I browse the CD it appears empty (no directory structure). I can burn the same image to a CD-RW using InfraRecorder and the same drive and all looks and works fine. In my case, this is not an issue of whether the BIOS is configured to boot from CD -- it always is.

I tried SAO, TAO, and even RAW96r. All three CDs came out the same -- no directory structure and no boot. I can see the strip of burned data starting at the center of the CD, and it is about the right size for this particular image. I can RIP each CD to an ISO image that comes out about 20K larger than the original ISO file using the Read Disc function, so I did not bother to try a diff/fc on them.

I'm running version 0.46.2.0

All of this was really useful as I couldn't get my version to burn a Ubuntu image. So I went back and checked the size of the file and realised I hadn't downloaded it properly.

Not it's all working properly.

The video does not start at all. What do I have to install to make it work? I'm working with PC Windows 7 and Firefox (last version)Browser.

During burning Linux Mint iso to DVD I saw a warning message "Some drives don't like closing in simulation mode" but it all seemed to go OK.
